I’m sure that you have heard of Google’s adsense program.  If not, then you need to check it out.  A brief introduction to the program is that you sign up for an account then wait to be accepted.  Adsense will provide you with ads that you can publish on your site.  Adsense will then target the ads on your site toward your content making it targeted to your website.  When a visitor sees the ads and clicks on them, you will get paid.  Adsense is a great way to monetize your website to make a little more on the side.  If you do get accepted into the program, make sure that you follow their policies and terms of service very closely.  There are many cool features that Adsense provides to their publishers that some other programs like this do not have, so check it out!
